Chalice made a major greenfield discovery in early 2020 – the Gonneville PGM-Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Resource in Western Australia.
The 100%-owned Project has a tier-1 scale Resource containing approximately 17 million ounces of platinum group metals (PGMs), 960kt of nickel, 540kt of copper and 96kt of cobalt.
The Project is expected to commence production in 2030 and become the first ever PGM mine in Australia, producing 220koz of precious metals, 7kt of nickel, 8kt of copper, 700t of cobalt annually for over 20 years.
The mine will deliver significant benefits to Western Australia, with a >A$24 billion contirbution to WA Gross State Product and creating >3,700 full-time jobs

The Gonneville mine will produce a rare mix of critical and strategic minerals such as palladium, platinum, nickel, copper and cobalt, which are vital inputs into the auto sector (electric, hybrid and internal combustion engine
vehicles), the defence sector (high performance materials and electronics), data centres (semiconductors
and electrical components), as well as many rapidly growing decarbonisation applications. Large-scale resources like Gonneville are very rare and therefore have high strategic value, given the dominance of Russia, South Africa and Indoneisa in PGM and nickel production.

Infrastructure update
A preferred infrastructure corridor for the Gonneville Project has now been identified for the next stage of assessment. From May 2026, our team is contacting landholders along that corridor, by letter and in person, to talk through what is proposed and further field investigations are planned for late 2026.
